About Evolution…
Because I am a troll…er, I mean an “interested party” I would like to say something. We learned a lesson today about science VS religion. What was that lesson? That they can’t seem to get along. EVER. But let me teach you all a different lesson via my own opinion on the matter:
1. Science and Religion are just words people gave to two differing sets of beliefs. Would a rose by any other name smell as sweet~?
2. My personal opinion which isn’t based in any belief system other than my own brain:
Why choose between evolution and creationism at all? What if they’re BOTH right in some ways?? *GASP* I’m no expert or anything, but I don’t see any reason why evolution can’t be of God. And while I’m at it, who’s to say God didn’t “create the universe” by initiating the “Big Bang” himself?
Seeing as many of us are artists, I would think you guys could think outside of the box a little lol
So yeah. Wrap your minds around that kiddies. *insert that one GIF of “mind being blown”*
I always wonder what’s going through Zuko’s head in this moment.
Because you can tell in the moment he pauses before he speaks that he is having a lot of thoughts.
Like:
‘The fuck is he on? Is he being deprived of oxygen at this high altitude or just high? Is the moon a metaphor for something? Is he being poetic? Because that seemed awfully literal. Maybe we’re having a moment. I think we’re having a moment. Shit, I suck at moments. I should say something reassuring. But the fuck do you say to a guy who thinks his girlfriend is a celestial object?’
